Kid, 12 years old January 14, Consumerism includes Dr. Even though this is a babyish show, the characters talk about flirting occasionally. In one episode, this couple was watching a dance performance at Crusty's, and a woman suddenly said "Oh My God Anyway, I don't get why consumerism is such a bad thing. This title contains: Sexy stuff. Kid, 11 years old January 8, I love how dumb Cece can be sometimes. I like the part in one episode where Rocky's dad finds out that Rocky is secretly on Shake It Up Chicago and Cece comes in after her dad agrees to let her stay.
Cece says something like can Rocky stay and Rocky's dad says only if you raise your grades but it was just a trick! Teen, 15 years old Written by J-boy January 7, Whats wrong with you!! Shake it up is a really awesome show. An some of you parents and other haters should really take a good look at it before you follow the crowd and assume its bad.
Cece and Rocky are awesome actors, dancers, and beautiful girls that should be applauded. They wonder why 9 year olds have eating disorders Uh. This show is completly terrible.
They practically said there was nothing wrong with eating disorders. You know if I ate! That puts bad ideas in kids heads. And people wonder why kids like 9 have eating disorders. I want disney to make a show with a normal weight girl or maybe someone who is a little chubbier.
The girls in this show are just bones. I miss the days with Raven "You make people feel bad if they dont look like that. No one looks like that! Because if you havnt noticed people come In all shapes and sizes and are all beautiful. Teen, 14 years old Written by girl4natwolff January 2, CeCe and Rocky are the worst brats on television. Worse than Calliou, and I didn't think that was possible.
I could go on and on, but I don't want to waste your time. Teen, 15 years old Written by Nanichr December 28, This show is way off. This show is off in the quality of its script and acting. The script is unoriginal and cliched with the same recycled punch-lines.
The characters come across as shallow and bratty. The actors are stiff, robotic and unconvincing when compared to old Disney Channel shows like 'That's so Raven'. This show offers nothing new, not even the dancing as Max from 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody' could dance circles around the two main characters.
This show is a definite miss. Teen, 17 years old Written by kiarradaly December 25, What happened to good shows???????? I don't like this at all. Teen, 14 years old Written by lizziemcguire4ever December 23, Materialistic, Snobby, ect. This is a horrible show about materialistic teenagers who hardley have any type of parental supervision. Even then when the mom is around she is irresponsible.
They snuck out to an adult party and LIED about their age. That put others and each other down. They have to balance school AND being on a t. They talk back to adults and they barely have friends other than those two. Rocky was a little more authoritative and confident. She would often stand up to others and take charge in situations, something that she wouldn't have done in the first season.
Rocky is a lot more confident, one of the most confident character on the show. She is a more fearless and is outgoing and casual, she focused more on dancing then school but she is still really smart, Rocky also handled things more maturely then she did in other seasons like not being chosen for Shake It Up, Chicago!
She also stood up for her friends a lot but also thought she could handle anything but realizes she can't, she also tries to get in a good college so she have a good career. Rocky was at first nervous to audition for Shake It Up, Chicago! On the stage, Rocky had an easy time at the audition and was one of the teen dancers chosen to be on the show.
However, CeCe was overcome by her stage fright and ran away before completing her audition. Rocky didn't want to be on the show without CeCe, so she handcuffed CeCe to her wrist and forced her to dance with her. Although the stunt got them in trouble, CeCe was hired and they both became dancers on the show. Rocky during her audition for Shake It Up, Chicago! Rocky has been wanting the spotlight dance since the first season.
She and CeCe were given the spotlight dance in Throw It Up , but Tinka sabotaged them and took the spotlight dance instead. Rocky was jealous of them and was tempted to try to join Tinka in her attempts to get the spot for herself. However, Rocky decides that it is more important to support CeCe instead. While they are in Japan, Rocky speaks out against Mr. Watsonabi's mother. Although Rocky keeps herself busy by dancing at parties and with the spirit squad, she does miss dancing on Shake It Up, Chicago!.
When the Shake It Up, Chicago! Rocky is confident about her audition, but is not hired as a dancer. Grateful to be acknowledged for her talent at dancing, Rocky accepts and returns to the show as a dancer. While they both harbor a love for dancing, they have different personalities: Rocky is a good student who likes to stay away from trouble, while CeCe is often dim-witted, wild, and usually has Rocky do her homework. It was revealed in " Shrink It Up ", that they met in a dance class when they were five years old, where CeCe was close to quitting until Rocky convinced her to stay.
They've been best friends ever since. Rocky is usually seen entering the Jones' apartment by climbing through the window via the fire escape along with her greeting "Hey, hey, hey! CeCe usually gets Rocky into interesting adventures and in trouble, although she does this because she trying to help her as she feels like she owes her.
Rocky sometimes get so mad at CeCe for her actions that she doesn't listen to her point of view or her side of the story or believes her. The first time was shown when they were at a bus stop in Texas, CeCe tried to explain to Rocky her intentions of dragging her to an audition and apologize for doing it but she was too busy trying to call her mother to stop and listen to her.
This was show again in their fight at Japan, CeCe was explaining to Rocky that the hypnotic suggestion wasn't all her fault as she tried to tell her that she was against it, although she explain it in her way in hopes that she got what she meant, also that she didn't use it a whole lot but she let her temper get the better of her and believed this was all her doing.
They have there moments of being right and wrong at the same time. They're opposites, but that's how their friendship works. See: ReCe. Ty is Rocky's older brother. Here try on these boots, I found This boy who said you're sweet He's got a best friend!
Think you'll always be mine. A dream like this, not something you wish for. Rocky is described as generous, funny, and overachieving.
She values learning and has a perfect attendance record. Unlike her red headed, best friend, CeCe, she values school and takes honors classes. She is extremely intelligent, but is more book-smart rather than street-smart, the opposite of CeCe. She is a vegetarian and believes strongly in human and animal rights.
Rocky is quite reserved and thinks logically before acting, which causes her to be pushed around by CeCe to take more risks. She is always trying to get CeCe out of trouble, which often gets them both into trouble. Rocky loves dancing and wants to pursue it. Rocky is a smart, intelligent girl who normally wears wavy, curly dark brown hair. She wears lots of cardigans, vests, sweaters with tops and jeans.
Sometimes she wears skirts too with her outfits. You can see that she wears dresses to parties, school dances, and special occasions. They don't often get along and like to throw insults at each other, but they can be friendly at times.
