Godstriker8 posted Do I have to search for him after he runs away in the cutscenes? Or will he randomly spawn for me to beat him up? During Sequence 4 you will have a new Sofia Memory in the far south of the map. Duccio makes his "comeback" appearance during that memory. You will not be able to beat him up at this point though. Once that memory is complete, you can find him South West of the river.
Go to the Arcadius tunnel. Once you gain control, head North for a fair distance. Once you have spotted him a Red Target icon appears above his head. Equip your fists and beat the crap out of him. I also accidentally killed him. The problem is he's got a red target on top of his head, which usually means he's part of some mission.
I poisoned him then, thinking he was related to the quest. However, I still had to kill the Romani in order to complete the quest.
I've poisoned him, stabbed him a dozen ways, arrowed him, bombed him, called assassins on him, grabbed him and thrown him, tripped him, etc, and I can't seem to figure out what he's for and why he's on my radar as a target. Every time he dies, if I leave the area he resets. What's the point of this guy? I shall add his wiki page, for story's sake. This is Duccio , he appeared in the previous 2 AC games. He was Ezio's sister's fiancee but cheated on her.

Yusuf: And don't be afraid to experiment. What's the worst that could happen? Yusuf: Ah ah ah! One wrong move and BANG! The building comes down.
Yusuf: [Guffaws] The look on your face! Yusuf: Ezio Auditore de Yusuf: Forgive me. I'm not familiar with that Italian gibberish. Suleiman: It is a relief to see you again, il mio bel menestrello my handsome minstrel. There, he beat Duccio up as payback, and warned him to stay away from Claudia. After ending his relationship with Claudia, Duccio tried to marry into the Pazzi family. These attempts were cut short by the failure of the Pazzi Conspiracy in Through substantial donations to the textile guilds, Duccio became a wool trader, exporting his Florentine products across Italy.
In , Duccio bought a small ship, presumably to become an alum trader. His ship, however, was too small for him to become a successful alum trader, with little to no profit in the years of In , he took instead to transporting various goods between cities, achieving some success smuggling illegal wares out of Florence during the rule of Girolamo Savonarola.
Chancing upon Ezio again, Duccio provoked him into a fistfight after insulting Claudia, despite Ezio initially refusing due to their age. Though aided by several henchmen, Duccio was unable to best Ezio. Grabbing Duccio by the collar, Ezio then demanded the location of the three Leonardo da Vinci paintings that Duccio had acquired.
