Which elementary character are you

The second episode of Sherlock delved into some nasty Asian stereotypes. In season 2, we are introduced to their version of Irene Adler, who is a dominatrix lesbian who also falls for Sherlock. Elementary , on the other hand, decided to go in another direction.

The most obvious example of diversity is the fact that they gender-bent Watson into not only a woman but a woman of color played by the amazing Lucy Liu. Joan is a woman, but the show never frames her as a sex object. While Irene Adler in Sherlock was introduced naked, Elementary seems to go out of its way not to sexualize Joan. Showrunner Robert Doherty put that to bed before the show even came out, telling Digital Spy :.

Of course there is a chance that Elementary will eventually put Sherlock and Joan together many seasons down the line, but that would be a red flag that the show has truly run out of ideas. The diversity in Elementary does not just apply to Watson.

The show seems to go out of its way to make sure its supporting cast and background characters are just as varied as they are in the real world. The race or sex of even the most iconic characters is not important because people are not defined by their sex or gender, but by their actions. Joan is an Asian American woman but she is never totally defined by those things. They are more used as part of who she is as a human being. Bell is often shown to be competent, caring and perfectly capable of solving crimes in his own right.

It feels like they could solve some of these crimes on their own and Sherlock and Joan help do it faster. Throughout the first season, we learn that the reason why Sherlock fell so deeply into addiction is because his girlfriend, Irene Adler, was murdered.

At first this was not looked at in a positive light since fridging killing a woman character for the benefit of the male protagonist is lazy storytelling, but by the end fans got the twist of a lifetime.

This twist changed the entire dynamic of the first season and has had amazing ripple effects throughout the rest of the series. This is a twist that Sherlock Holmes fans have been waiting for someone to do for years because it just makes sense.

A dozen or more. What kind of person would you describe yourself as? What do you like to do in your spare time? Go on long walks. Play an instrument. Cause trouble. Go out with friends. How would others describe you? They would call me insane. They would say I need help. Very caring. Very sexual. Do you like to play games? Not really. I love games! Only certain games. Only with my friends.

Only games that keep me on my toes. How late do you stay out? What type of relationship do you have with your coworkers? While no one ever wants to get sick or enjoys getting sick, the occasional cold or the dreaded flu are sometimes inevitable. There are some people that understand this and take their sickness in stride, while there are others that can be described as a complete germaphobe. How would you describe your level of sensitivity to those that are sick?

Liu caused some waves since Watson isn't exactly thought of as a female character but many people liked the twist to the classic Sherlock Holmes story.

Relatively quiet Talkative. Watson arrives at the Brownstone to find Morland waiting. Morland indicates that he left an item in storage in the basement which he wants to retrieve. Watson knows that he's looking over the materials in her basement office. A member of Morland's security team Mr. Coin arrives and indicates that he found nothing.

Morland leaves and ignores Watson's questions. You do recall who owns this building. After Kurtz is found dead in an apparent robbery gone wrong, Sherlock visits Morland and tries to ascertain if Morland is behind Kurtz's death.

Captain Gregson visits Morland and threatens him if anything happens to Sherlock or Watson. Morland arrives at the Brownstone with all of Kurtz's correspondence and proves that he wasn't behind Kurtz's death.

At Morland's office , Sherlock makes an apology of sorts and Morland gives Sherlock details of the Colombian oil deal in which Kurtz had been the mole. Later, Sherlock discovers that an on-line survey is being used to recruit psychopaths and that Moriarty's organization is behind Kurtz's death. With Gregson Sherlock Apologizes Those close to him must always take care You threatened to expose him?

Preparing to leave his office for the evening, Morland first chastizes VP Allison Pitzker for not having the bids that Emil Kurtz was working on.

Pitzker is murdered by Ruslan Krasnov who then detonates a bomb in Morland's office on behalf of his employer, the current head of Moriarty's organization, destroying evidence of Krasnov that Morland had in the process. A security team brings Morland to a secret penthouse, but Sherlock finds it. Sherlock informs him that Moriarty's organization is behind the attempt on his life and that he is endevoring to find out who the new leader is. He asks for Sherlock's promise to keep him informed of any new developments.

I'm not easily intimidated. One of Morland's police contacts later tips him off that Sherlock has evidence that Krasnov detonated the bomb. Morland angrily confronts Sherlock for not telling him.

Sherlock is adamant that Krasnov is brought to justice and knows that if Morland captures him, he'll be tortured. Morland deduces that Sherlock knows who is behind Krasnov's murder attempt and when Sherlock claims ignorance, Morland blames Sherlock for Sabine's death and for not dismantling Moriarty's organization after she was imprisoned.

Stop lying to me, Sherlock! After the head of Morland's security team is wounded, Sherlock finds Morland in a church with the body of the man who planted a bomb at the Brownstone. Morland claims to not have killed him, and is willing to give up his quest for revenge to help Sherlock bring down Moriarty's successor as, he is not willing to see Sherlock die.

The bomber is connected to an Iranian diplomat, Zoya Hashemi , who Morland, Watson and Sherlock visit after he uses his influence to arrange a meeting. She admits to planting the bomb at the Brownstone to implicate Joshua Vikner as she wants him removed from leadership of Moriarty's network.

Sherlock wants to destroy Moriarty's organization, but Hashemi shows them a board in which UN votes by country are tracked and, where operations by the organization are in motion. The vastness of the network shows Sherlock that bringing down the organization would be very difficult.

Hashemi tells them she and others want Morland to lead. Hashemi won't help Morland in his battle with Vikner, fearing the latter's retribution. They want you to lead them. Watson arranges a phone call between Morland and Vikner in which Vikner says a peace offer he had previously asked Sherlock to help him arrange with Morland no longer stands, and that only Morland's death will ensure his family and business survive.

The conversation is a ruse to get Vikner's fingerprints off Watson's phone to frame him for murder. Morland seemingly agrees, but he calls Vikner and agrees to his terms.
