Some of the greatest contributions from Chip Foose are his artwork in automobiles. As a result, he made his debut on Titus back in as a consultant. In retrospect, it all started back when he was nine years old when his late father, Sam Foose, gave him a wrecked Volkswagen. On the side, he offered his consultancy services in design to different clients — a practice he upholds till today as well as starting a die-cast business in Working as a famous automotive designer has never been better for Chip Foose ever since he decided to go solo.

He began his financial journey as a hot rod shop owner and designer for Hot Rods by Boyd. His car career could be considered to start as early as age seven, when he would help his dad by working on cars at his dad's business, Project Design. Upon Foose's graduation from the Art Center College of Design in , he had several jobs in the car industry. After that, he became the president of the company Hot Rods by Boyd.

Once that company hit bankruptcy by , he and his wife Lynne took the big step to open their own shop, Foose Design, Inc. All of this was prior to the launch of Overhaulin' in When Foose is working, he performs a variety of tasks, doing different things in different places. Every day is a new challenge and a new story, so his itinerary varies greatly.

Foose enjoys that part of his job and thinks it's great. I may stay home—I have a studio at home. It will look like an original Cadillac until you look underneath. However, public exposure from Overhaulin' has meant he can't go anywhere in public without being recognized and having fans swarm him, as much as he cares about his fans.

At age 12, Chip had amassed a five-year wealth of experience, meaning he started active employment at age seven, working alongside his father. At 12, he produced his first car design - a Porsche Dubious scandals seem to have a way of bringing down prominent personalities world over.

Chip Foose is the opposite. He and Lynne are legally and happily married with two children, Katie and Brock, all of whom reside in the state of California. Aside from his corporate responsibility, Chip creates quality time for his family.
